James David "Dave" Melody, 80, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at St. Anthony's Hospital. He was a St. Petersburg native and graduate of St. Petersburg High School. He was the Owner of Dave Melody's Spraying Service and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by 2 daughters, Joy (Robert) Thiel, Paula (Terry) Decker both of St. Petersburg; 1 son, David (Dr. Judy Fenyk-Melody) of Issaquah, WA; 1 sister, Susan Melody-Katz of St. Petersburg; and 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Patricia M. Melody. Interment - Bay Pines National Cemetery. $(document).ready(function(){ });
