Raymond W. Merfeld, 85, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at home under the care of The Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast. He was born in Worthington, IA and came to Florida in 1963 from Dubuque, IA. He was a mechanic at St. Petersburg-Clearwater Airport and was an Air Force Veteran of WWII where he served in the Battle of The Bulge. He is survived by his wife, Maj G.; one stepson, Roger Myers of Tularosa, NM; one brother, Albert of Monticello, IA; two sisters, Dolly Janssen of Monticello, IA and Loretta Brown of Edgewood, IA. $(document).ready(function(){ });
