Fred J. Michaud, 88, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Canada and was an 18 year winter resident from Caribou, Maine. He was a Plant Superintendent for the Caribou School System for over 45 years and was an Army veteran of WW II. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; 2 daughters, Patti (James) Gilley of Berwick, ME, Rebecca (Dana) Haskell of Caribou, ME; 1 son, Scott (Dorothy) Michaud of Uxbridge, MA; 2 sisters, Evelyn (Sandy) St. Peter, Deda Sams; 1 brother, Maynard all of Caribou; 4 grandchildren, Rachael, Rebekah, Seth, and Timothy; 2 great grandchildren, Olivia and Eric; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Doris Michaud, and three brothers, Herbert, Lewis, and Alphie. A memorial mass will be 10 A.M. Monday, May 16, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church 200-78th Avenue NE. Interment will be in Caribou, Maine.
