Gary Lee Michel, 57, of Lakeland, FL, died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL. He was born in Cedar Falls, IA and moved to Lakeland in 1995 from Dallas, TX. He was a truck driver for trucking companies and was Presbyterian. He was an Army veteran of the Viet Nam War and a member of American Legion Post #4, a life member of VFW Post #2297, and a member of AMVETS Post #32 all in Lakeland. He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Scott Richardson of Ilion, NY; Jerry Richardson of Fort Sill, OK; Eric Richardson of Hudson, FL; three daughters, Cathy Estes of Plano, TX; Candy Michel and Tia Michel both of Iowa; his mother, Shirley Michel of Lakeland; three brothers, Dave Michel and Steve Michel both of Iowa; Allen Michel of St. Cloud, FL; Susan Kozik of Georgia; and thirteen grandchildren $(document).ready(function(){ });
