January 21st, 1930 - August 9th, 2014
Virginia Self Mitchell, 84, of St. Petersburg, Florida, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014. She was a 1947 graduate of St. Petersburg High School and was an active member of Clearview United Methodist Church. She is survived by 3 sons, Ronald L. (Debra) Mitchell, A. Clay ( Laura) Mitchell, Mark L. (Pam) Mitchell; and 2 grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Schaff and William Mitchell. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Malcolm C. "Mike" Mitchell, her brother, Ronald Self, and her sister, Bonita Self. A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Clearview United Methodist Church with Rev. Bo Sim officiating.
