Novie L. Moon, 89, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001 at her home. She was born in Jasper, Florida and moved to St. Petersburg in 1944 from Dunnellon, Florida. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church where she was a teacher in the Children's Sunday School departments for many years and was a member of the King's Daughters Sunday School Class. She was a member of The Order Of The Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred Willis and Minnie Hall Willis and a brother, George McDilda. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Carlos E. Moon, two daughters, Joan Bleakley of St. Petersburg, Aleda Senes of Lake Worth, Florida, one brother, Adrian McDilda of Gainesville, Florida, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
