Margaret G. Penuel

Margaret Grinaker Penuel, 80, of St. Petersburg, died Monday, January 23rd, 2006. She was born in Wedowee, AL and moved to St. Petersburg in 1956 from Gainesville, FL. She was a 1946 graduate of Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University) with a Bachelor's degree in Education and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. She was a 1949 graduate of the University of Florida with Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She was a Math and Science Teacher at Riviera Middle School and a member of Pasadena Baptist Church both in St. Petersburg. She is survived by two sons, Dr. James W. Penuel, Jr. of Fort Myers, Dr. John H. Penuel of Clyde, NC; four grandchildren, Evelyn, John, Christina, Alison and 1 great grandson, Harold James Bunce. She was predeceased by her husband, James W. Penuel, Sr., a brother, Dr. James Grinaker and a sister, Bettye Forsythe.
