Billie F. Preston, 83, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park, Florida. She was born in Chillicothe, Texas and moved to St. Petersburg in 2001 from Shell Knob, MO. She was self employed as a professional singer and clown known as Clyde and taught a clown workshop at Altis College in Oklahoma. She performed nutritional shows at many schools and also had performed on the Jerry Lewis Telethon several times. She was a member of Village Green Community Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William C.; 3 sons, Chuck (Linda) of Land O'Lakes, FL, Rick (Donna) of Kirbyville, TX, Mike (Jamie) of Bridge City, TX; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at E, Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th Street North. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Village Green Community Church with Rev. Jerry Brown and Rev. Danny Lintz officiating. Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
