Virgil I. Robinson, 82, of St. Petersburg, FL, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 14, 2011 at his residence with loving care. He was born in Tembler, KY and moved to St. Petersburg in 1963 from Richmond, IN. He was a Roofer for Hightower Roofing Company until 1974 and was an avid Pool player with his wonderful friends from their condos. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Phyllis J. Robinson; 3 daughters. Connie Weiss of Richmond, IN, Mary K. Beetem of St. Petersburg, FL, Janet Robinson of MI; a foster daughter, Kim S. Brooks of FL; 2 sisters, Lula Hayes of Richmond, IN, Ollie Smith of Corbon, KY; 1 brother, Hurstel Robinson of Hillsboro, OH; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 7 nephews including Steven Purvis of St. Petersburg; and 9 nieces. $(document).ready(function(){ }); Charitable donations may be made in Virgil's memory to the following organization: Suncoast Hospice 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760
