Helen Elizabeth Rowand, of Spring Hill, FL and formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, died Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville FL. Helen was born in Monongah, WV, moved to St. Petersburg in 1960 from Steubenville, OH, and moved to Spring Hill in 2005. She was the Manager of the Personnel Department at Florida National Bank in St. Petersburg for 20 years and served as secretary of the Florida National Bank Retirees Club. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters Lorry R. (Bryant) Walker of Palm City, FL, Roberta R. (David) Everling of Spring Hill; 4 grandchildren, Steven, Erin, Belinda, Craig; and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to service time at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. St. Petersburg with Dr. Ken Moon officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
