February 8th, 1936 - April 1st, 2012
William H. "Bill" Scites, 76, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 1, 2012. He was born in Branchland, WV and moved to St. Petersburg in 1989 from Allen Park, MI and retired from General Motors. He was a member of Northside Masonic Lodge #283, Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, and the Joint Heirs Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary A. Scites; 3 sons, Randy L. (Kay) Scites, Ronald A. (Carla) Scites Roger D. Scites; 1 brother, Clark (Jean) Scites; 6 grandchildren, Steven (Ashley), Daniel (Ivy), Chris, Matthew, Jessica, Nicholas; 2 great grandchildren, Jacob and Nathan; and numerous nieces and nephews including Jerry McComas. Friends may call 11:00 A.M. to service time at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100 - 16th Street North.
