William L. "Bill" Scott, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Monday January 31, 2011. He was born in Bethel, OH and moved to St. Petersburg in 1960 from Cincinnati, OH. Bill was the manager of the W.T. Grant store at Northeast Shopping Center, an accountant for Commercial Business Supply, and was also an Avon representative. He was a Little League Baseball coach and Football coach for 13 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg and a former member of Norwood and Fifth Avenue Baptist Churches where he served as a Deacon and was active in their bus ministries. Bill was a member of The Gideons International East Camp and was a Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy K.; 1 daughter, Rebecca L. "Becky" (Dale) Scutro of Trinity, FL; 3 sons, Kirk of Treasure Island, FL, Richard A. "Rick" (Kathy) of Marietta, GA, Charles E. "Chuck" (Shelby) of Fort Knox, KY; 1 sister, Patricia G. "Pat" Coleman of Quincy, FL; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, February 3, 2011 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday, February 4, 2011 at First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family requests memorials to: The Gideons International P.O.
