Service: Private Memorial Service Roy F. Staggs, Sr., 55, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at Kindred Hospital St. Petersburg. He was born in Cincinnati, OH and moved to St. Petersburg in 1974 from Indiana. He was an automobile mechanic and salesman. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was Catholic. He was formerly a professional wrestler known as The Hangman when in mask and as Tony Christie when out of mask. He is survived by his wife, Pamela K.; two sons, Roy F. Jr., of St. Petersburg, Daniel S. of Tampa; six daughters, Kathy L. Wright of Salem AR, Marrissa I. Brunk of Yuma, AZ, Tomara L. Walbridge , Joni L. Staggs, Tamera K. Messinger, Sara R.
