Gerald H. "Gerry" Stevenson, 86, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Bayfront Medical Center. He was born in Richmond Yorkshire, England, the son of the late William H. and Lillian (Young) Stevenson and moved to St. Petersburg from Harker Heights, Texas. He retired as a mechanical engineer, and was a WWII Veteran of the British Army. He was a Presbyterian, and a former member of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). Gerry also enjoyed reading, singing and acting in community theater. He is survived by 2 sons, Richard H. Stevenson, Robin H. (Ellen) Stevenson; 3 daughters, Alesia H. Stevenson, Geraldine H. (Dale) Sult, Anne H. (Eric) Parker; 2 sisters, Angela and Pat; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at E.
