Albert H. Stockmeier, 86, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at Tandem Health Care of St. Petersburg. He was born in LaCrosse, WI and came here in 1960 from Vero Beach, FL. He was an Army Veteran of WWII obtaining the rank of 2nd LT. He was a radio broadcaster and locally worked for WSUN Radio on the Pier in downtown St. Petersburg. then WLCY Radio on Gandy Blvd. where he hosted the show "Open Mike." He was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. He is survived by one son, Michael B. of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Pamela B. Malone and Martha Goodnight both of St. Petersburg, FL; one brother, Frederick of Elk Grove, IL; one sister, Esther Meiller of Dayton, OH; five grandchildren, Leslie Bowman, David Stockmeier, Jennifer Carlson, Carole Tinker and Michael Goodnight; and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Jean Blake Stockmeier. The family request memorials to: Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast 300 E.
