R. Craig Tibbetts, 61, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1957 from his native Cayman Islands and was a 1968 graduate of Boca Ciega High School. He was a former salesman at Maas Brothers Department Store and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church. He is survived by 1 sister, Cathy (Jerry) Cowles of St. Petersburg; 2 brothers, Chet, Jr. (Jeanetta) Tibbetts of Kettering, OH, Randy Tibbetts of St. Petersburg; Aunt, Elsa Tibbetts-Engel and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Chesley, Sr. and Ivylett Tibbetts. Friends may call 10 A.M. to service time at 11 A.M. Tuesday Nov. 23, 2010 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100 16th St. No. Entombment will follow at Royal Palm Cemetery North.
