Charles Edward "Chuck" Wicker, 53, of St. Petersburg, FL, entered the presence of the Lord Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Suncoast Hospice-Bayfront. Chuck moved to St. Petersburg in 1978 from his native Jacksonville, FL and was a 1977 graduate of Wolfson High School in Jacksonville where then local band Lynyrd Skynyrd played for his Jr. prom. He had "the best job in the world" for many years at Jabil St. Pete, and left as Employee Of The Year. He was hard-working, helpful, and talented. A loving father and husband, always thoughtful, generous and selfless, he was well-liked and very tough. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Angela; children, Jesse, Ruth, Paul, Joseph, Laura; mother, Abbie; sister, Susan; and two grandchildren. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100-16th St. No. A celebration of his life will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, May 4, 2012 at his church of 16 years, Calvary Chapel 8900 U.S. Hwy 19 North. Private interment will be at the Mitchell Cemetery in Jasper, FL. The family requests memorials to: Message Ministries & Missions P.O.
