Ruth B. Wilson, 90, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 9, 2012 at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was born in Nettleton, MS and moved to St. Petersburg in 1954 from Atlanta, GA. She was a secretary at the Florida State Insurance Commissioner's office and formerly had worked in the legislative and liaison division in the Pentagon from 1945-1947. She retired in 1981 from Gulf Coast Legal Services. She was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. She is survived by 2 sons, Hal and Cal Wilson both of St. Petersburg; and 1 grandson, Aaron. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Homer A. Wilson, Jr. Friends may call 12:00 to service time at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100 - 16th Street North with Rev. Dr. Philip Lilly officiating.
