Dorothy G. Winskill, 97, died Tuesday, January 11, 2012, in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has been living at Lutheran Apartments, 550 First Ave. S., since 2002. Prior to retirement, she was in administration for the Veteran's Affairs office in Wisconsin. In California she worked for the Long Beach Board of Education. Her father, Martin Mathison, is credited with installing the first electric lights in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, in 1915. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil. She is survived locally by her nephew, Dick Koch, St. Petersburg, and his wife, Dale, a great niece and nephew, and four great great nieces and nephews. Memorial Service - 10:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Lutheran Apartments - 550 First Avenue South, St. Petersburg. The family requests donations to: All Children's Hospital Foundation P.O.
