Robert Michael (Bob) Wittkamp, age 64, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Tuesday, June 12, at Bay Pines VA Hospital after a short illness. Bob was born in Muskegon, MI on September 2, 1942, and graduated from Muskegon Heights High School. He served in Vietnam in the US Army and received an honorable discharge, after which he returned to his adoptive state of Florida. Bob was an IICRC-certified Master Cleaning Technician and Senior Carpet Inspector, an IICRC past president, past chairman of the IICRC Certification Board and a regular columnist for ICS magazine. Surviving are his sister, Patricia (Michael) Miller and Mary Ann Seymour of Muskegon, Michigan; nephews, Paul (Sara) Wittkamp of Wyoming, Michigan, Eric (Linda) Seymour of Muskegon, Michigan, and nieces, Joanna (Steven) Swanson of Las Vegas, NV and Rachel Wittkamp of Muskegon, Michigan. He is also survived by dear and loyal friends, Cyndi and Dan Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ted, in 2005 and his brother-in-law, George Seymour, in 2006.
