Jordan, Susan Tyler, 88, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Allegro @ College Harbor. She was born in East Aurora, NY but spent her childhood here in St. Petersburg. She was Director of Volunteers at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY for many years and then returned to St. Petersburg in the sixties to stay. She was an active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and volunteered at the Museum of Fine Arts. She is predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Tyler Austin and brother, David Leigh Tyler. She is survived by her nieces; Marcia Tyler, Stephanie Austin and Constance Tyler, nephews; Leigh Tyler and Seth Austin. A funeral service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1200-Snell Isle Blvd. NE, on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11:00am. Reception will follow.
