King, Bessie Marguerite, age 86 of Saint Petersburg, FL and Dexter, New York, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Northside Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Watertown, NY, on August 28, 1928 to the late Joseph J. Kerske and the late Bessie M., she married JT on May 31, 1951 and was married for 65 wonderful years. Bessie was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean conflict and was also a VFW member. Bessie was exceptionally devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. Bessie enjoyed gardening and traveling in her spare time. Bessie Marguerite is survived by her husband JT King; three sons, James T. King Jr., John J. King, and Jerry Paul King; daughter, Janet E. King Bower; and predeceased by daughter, Janice C. King; and brother, Joseph J. Kerske Jr.. There will be a visitation for Bessie King at Anderson-McQueen Family Tribute Center, Tyrone Chapel on August 10th at 5:00PM, followed by a Service at 7:00PM. Internment will take place on August 11th at 2:30PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flower donations, family requests that donations are made out to Disabled Veterans of American in honor of Bessie.
