Breon, Gayla Joan "Mimi", 57 of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Tampa General Hospital. She moved to St. Petersburg from Corning, NY. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Evelyn and Leonard Breon, Sr., and her brother Leonard Breon, Jr."Lenny". She is survived by her daughter, Shannon J. "Roberts" Denney of St. Petersburg, her son Thomas Wm. Roberts and his wife Diana of Gibsonton, stepson Wm. "Billy" Smith, of St. Petersburg and four beloved grandchildren Amanda, Demetrik, Christopher "C.J." and Dominic, and her companion, William David Wheless., two sisters - Lorena "Lori" Clark of Chincoteaque, VA, and Marsha Breon Andrews of Corning, NY, four nieces and five nephews, several aunts and uncles in Corning, NY. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 2201 Dr. M.L. King St. North. Interment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. A reception will be held immediately following at Gayla's home.
