DeCosmo, Mildred "Millie" passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 with her family by her side. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 14, 1923 and moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1953. Her life and accomplishments were devoted to her family and she leaves a legacy of love and respect. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Michael Attilio DeCosmo. Millie is survived by her sons: John, Michael, Arthur, Gary and Perry DeCosmo and their spouces, Vivian, Lynne, Jacqueline, Kathy and Michelle, daughters: Cristina Henderson and Millie Miller and their spouces, Rick and Edward; sister, Mary Wyeroski; brother, Arthur Competelli; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation with be held at 11:00AM till 2:00PM on Sunday July 27 2008 at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. M.L. King St. N. A Funeral Prayer Service will be at 2:00PM on Sunday July 27, 2008 being laid to rest following at Memorial Park. Online guestbook at www.andersonmcqueen.com.
