December 19th, 1914 - July 30th, 2008
Comegys, Arletta Moslin, 93, of St. Petersburg, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Edward White Hospital. She was born in Galesburg, IL, moved here from Winter Haven, FL in 1933, worked as a secretary at St. Petersburg High School until she married Frank and together started Comegys Insurance Agency in 1939. She was past President of the Junior Women's Club, founding board member of the Florence Crittenton Home for Unwed Mothers, past member of Sentilites, St. Petersburg Lions Auxillary Club, Women's Service League, Women's Forum at Eckerd College, St. Petersburg Yacht Club and a member at Maximo Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling, golf and was an avid mystery reader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, of 60 years. Survivors include; son, Wayne T. Brenda, daughter, Linda Berset Mark, two grandchildren, Derek and Kristen Berset. A funeral service for family and friends will be held Sunday, August 3 at 3:00pm at Maximo Presbyterian Church, 3200 58th Ave S., St. Petersburg, FL 33712, with reception to immediately follow the service.
