Churuti, Betty Jean Hutchison August 27, 1928 - August 11, 2008 Waiting for her in heaven are her parents, Clifford and Louise Hutchison, her husband, Robert Edward Churuti, Sr. and her sister-in-law, Helen Clark Hutchison. She is survived by her son, Robert Edward Churuti, Jr., daughter-in-law, Susan Hamilton Churuti; daughter, Deborah Jean Churuti Deacon and son-in-law, Robert Vincent Deacon; daughter, Donna Louise Churuti Trumm and son-in-law, John Trumm; granddaughter, Marybeth Deacon Rubinacci and grandson-in-law, Andrew Rubinacci; grandson, Benjamin Edward Miller and granddaughter-in-law, Sarah Nicole Miller; great-grandsons: Nicholas Edward and Drew Rubinacci and Demetri Miller; great-granddaughters: Victoria and Alexandria Miller; brother, Donald Jay Hutchison; nieces: Diana Hutchison Fulton and Julie Hutchison Hagerman; and great-nephew, Steven Fulton. Betty moved to St. Petersburg in the 1950's from Hillsdale, NJ. She became one of the state's first female stock brokers with Beil and Hough. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association. She retired in the early 1990's from Raymond James and Associates, Inc., where as an Associate Vice President, she traveled extensively opening offices and training personnel. She loved bowling and was in several leagues. Betty loved cruising and music. She was a member of the Honor Guard in the Second Time Arounders Marching Band since 1986 and marched in the Rose Festival in Portland, Oregon until her health forced her to the sidelines as a spectator and cheerleader. She marched in the Festival of States parade yearly, and traveled with the band to San Antonio, Texas and Dublin, Ireland. A visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, 2008 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home-NE St. Petersburg, 2201 Dr. M.L. King St. N. In lieu of flowers, her family would be honored to have donations sent in her memory to: Second Time Arounders Marching Band, 102-8th Street East, Tierra Verde, Florida 33715.
