Whitney, Loretta C. "Honey" 74, of St. Petersburg, died October 17th at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to St. Petersburg in 1979 from Staten Island, NY. She was a graduate of St. Alphonse Catholic High School in Manhattan, NY. She was an accountant for the City of St. Pete. She was an active member of Holy Cross Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Holy Cross Women's Club, Past President of the Irish American Club of St. Petersburg, and an Eucharistic Minister at Holy Cross. She loved playing cards, family genealogy, watching baseball, attending mass daily, and enjoyed going on cruises. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Loretta Fulton; sister, Edna Francis; first husband, William Martyn and her son, Billy. Survivors include her husband, Emery; daughters, Holly Fleming, Patricia Hyde, Susan Martyn-Carter, Carol Eastman, and Kimberly Fleming; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 6 step-daughters. Friends may visit on Monday, October 20, 2008 from 1-3pm and 6-8pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 7820 38th Ave. N. A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home- 727 347-6636
