Tighe, John Joseph, 69, of Largo, passed away on Saturday, November 29th at Palm Garden Nursing Home in Largo. He was a native of New Jersey and moved here in 1974. John worked at St. Anthony's Hospital and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a US Navy veteran having served during the Cold War. John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years: Regina; brother: Clifford of Woodbridge, NJ; 2 nephews: Patrick of Piscataway, NJ and Kevin of Woodbridge, NJ and a niece: Dawn Kanaszka of Metuchen, NJ. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4th at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes-Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Ave N, from 2 to 5pm; with a rosary at 4:30pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 5th at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7851-54th Avenue North, at 10am. Interment will follow at a later date at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
