Peterson, John Carl 89, of Pinellas Park, FL died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Northside Hospital. Born in Chicago, IL he was for many years a member of The Lions Club and the VFW, in Elk Grove Village, IL. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving as a member of the Seabee's. He was also an amateur Photographer, avid Lego and Jigsaw puzzle enthuisist. For many years he enjoyed being a Numismatist. He worked as a tool and die maker at GTE Automatic Electric in Northlake, IL for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosemary Peterson, Pinellas Park, FL 3 daughters Nancy J. Cazzola, Tampa, FL, Marie V. Payne, Pinellas Park, FL, and Patricia A. Pate, Elk Grove Village, IL, 1 son Clifford J. Peterson, Duke, MO, 4 stepdaughters Lori Intravichit, St. Petersburg, FL, Ilona Ridgeway, Black Creek, WI, Jeanine Schwartz, San Pedro, CA, and Christine Blackgoat, Juneau, AK , 20 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Charlotte Marie Peterson, and stepson Craig Schwartz. A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Monday, January 12, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 8001 46th Avenue N., Pinellas Park. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home-NE St. Petersburg
