Schandle, Catherine Carr, "Nana" 63, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at home. She was born in Tampa, FL. She graduated from NE High School in 1963. She was a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and participated in the Salty Sisters. She was also a member of the NE Racket Club. She loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth Richardson Carr and LouEllen Lovell Carr. She is survived by husband of 44 years, Earl Schandle, St. Petersburg, FL, daughter Stephanie Schandle Bucklew, Tampa, FL, son Steven Earl Schandle, St. Petersburg, FL and three grandchildren; Caelum Schandle, Sylvia Bucklew and Olivia Bucklew. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Humane Society, www.animalshelter.org/donate.asp in honor of her love for her dog, Buddy.
