Adams, Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth 89, of St. Petersburg, passed away Friday, February 6, 2009, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, MA, she moved to CT where she met her husband, George and raised their family in the home they built in 1939. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George after 43 years of marriage, her parents, Edward and Alice Holmes and brother, Edward A. Holmes. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Joy Adams, St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Gary Lee Adams, St. Petersburg, FL, Terry Edward Adams, Hillsborough, NC and George Lucas Michelle Adams III, Rocky Hill, CT; brother, William F. Holmes, Rocky Hill, CT; sister in laws, Bernice Holmes and Rita Adams, both or Wethersfield, CT; grandchildren, Blaine Elise, Kaely David, Leanna Carl, John, Carolyn, Margaret, Keith and Scott; great grandchildren, Elijah, Zoe and Careana and many neices and nephews. There will be a visitation from 2PM-4PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Anderson-McQueen, 2201-Dr. M.L.K. St. N. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in her name to the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
