Nelle, Joyce Ann Davidson 58, died Friday, February 27, in St. Petersburg, after a brief illness. She was born September 28, 1950, in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of Hettie and Donald Davidson who predeceased her. Joyce is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael Nelle, her 5 siblings, and their spouses, Carole and Jim Laspina, of Irwin, PA, Pam and Andy Bocan, of Irwin, PA, Donna and Bill Leake, of St. Petersburg, FL, Bruce and Stacy Davidson, of Homosassa, FL, Debi Davidson and Harry Dwyer, of Fayette, ME, her husband's 3 siblings and their spouses, Cheryl and Eric Winter, Bob and Vicki Nelle, Steve and Debbie Nelle, all of St. Petersburg, and 39 nieces and nephews. She graduated from Northeast High School and was a legal assistant for 31 years with local attorney Bill Walker. She was a food connoisseur extraordinaire and loved hosting parties and entertaining their families and friends at their home, she enjoyed monthly poker nights with her "Poker Princesses," was an avid runner, and she delighted in accomplishing many gardening, landscaping and redecorating projects with Mike. She generously shared her active life, her abundant love and her contagious laughter with her family and many close friends. She was loved and admired by everyone who knew her. In Joyce's memory, Mike requests that you plant a flower or a tree, or make a donation to your favorite charity. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7th, at 1:00 pm, at Suncoast Cathedral, 2300 62nd Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL.
