Andrews, Jane A. 87, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at her residence. Born in Beaver, PA, she came here in 1951 from Cleveland, OH. She graduated from Hollins College in Roanoke, VA. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and participated in the Sanctuary Guild and was involved in the Reach to Recovery American Cancer Society. Jane was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing bridge. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in the book club. She was a wonderful gourmet cook. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Lynn H. Andrews and son, Richard Marks Stitt. She is survived by sister, Ruth Arnold Nichols and brother-in-law, Horace S. Nichols, MA; daughter, Anne Stitt Rogers and son-in-law, Randy Rogers, grandson, Justin Daniel Rogers, and granddaughter, Tracy Rogers Clopp, TX; Geoffrey Arnold Stitt, St. Petersburg, FL and grandson, Geoffrey Adam Stitt, and granddaughter, Lindsay Jane Stitt, AL; daughter-in-law, Nancy S. Stitt, and grandsons, Taylor Marks Stitt and Carson Parks Stitt, and caregiver Tiffani Minear, St. Petersburg, FL. A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 701 Beach Drive N.E., on March 28 at 1 PM. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home - N.E. St. Petersburg Chapel 727 822-2059
