Douglas Bronson Eades
June 22nd, 1930 - March 28th, 2009
EADES, DOUGLAS BRONSON, 78, of Seminole passed away on March 28, 2009. Born in Buffalo, NY, he grew up in Harborcreek, PA and moved to Seminole in 1962. He served in the U.S. Air Force, Air-Sea Rescue during the Korean War and in the PA National Guard. He was awarded the Syngman Rhee South Korean Presidential Citation and two Distinguished Unit Citations for Pork Chop Hill. He formed Orbit Industries and merged with Erny Supply Co. in Tampa. He was a State Building and Pool Contractor. He is a former member of the Mason's, Egypt Shrine, Polywogs, Committee of 100 and a founder of FSPMA. He was a charter member of Seminole Lake Country Club, past President of the Seminole Lake County Club Estates and The Links Condominium Assoc. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann Markham Eades, his daughter, Beth Ann Ackerman and husband Jim; his son, Mark Eades and wife Donna; granddaughters Mallory and Megan Edwards and Michaela Tolbert. Grandchildren, Jessica and Sean McCall; Christopher, Michael and Sarah Ackerman. His sister, Jean Martin and husband Robert and his brother, Russell W. Eades and wife Phyllis, and his beloved animals. Please send donations to the SPCA of Pinellas County, Friends of Strays, Pet Rescue or Shriner's Children Hospital. His love of family and friends will, forever, be remembered… his exuberance for life and hoping for the best for all he knew were some of his best qualities and doing for others was his greatest pleasure.
