Gatto, Mario M. 83, of St. Petersburg, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009. He moved to St. Petersburg from Kearny, NJ in 1957 and worked for ECI/Raytheon for 38 years. Mario was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church for 52 years where he was a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, usher, and a member of the Men's Club. He enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Shootin' Stars. He is survived by his loving wife, Lena, of 58 years; children, John Gatto, Virginia Berry, Dianne Hicks, and Lisa Hansen; 5 grandchildren; brother, Leonard; sister, Lena; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200 78th Ave. N.E. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice House Woodside, 6770 102nd Ave. N., Pinellas Park, FL 33782.
