Wilson, Elizabeth L. 76, of St. Petersburg, was promoted to Glory on Monday, December 5, 2011. Born in Andalusia, AL, She came here in 1959 from West Palm Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Candis Barber, Brother Farrish Blount, and granddaughter Nala Wilson. She is survived by her loving husband of which she has spent over 50 years with, Bruce; children Arlinda Johnson, Bruce O. Wilson Sr., Jewel Murphy (Keith), Yolanda Wilson, Daymeon Wilson; Sisters Hattie Easley, Eleanor Barber (Joseph); Grandchildren Veronica Hightower, Bruce O. Wilson Jr., Marcus A. Wilson, Baron John Johnson, Jeremy Johnson,Brandy Spaulding, Michael Shorter (Ashley), Brandon Shorter, Jessica Wilson, Gabrielle Wilson, Michaela and Moriah Adams, Kierra Wilson, Candice Wilson, Ah'Darius Wilson, Josiah Wilson, Carmen Straughter, and most recently added Harmony Elizabeth Wilson; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of Mt. Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church for over 20 years and she has touched coountless lives as a foster parent. There will be a visitation on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 4-8 pm with a wake service starting at 6pm at the funeral home and a funeral service on Saturday December 10, 2011 11am at Mt. Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Louis M. Murphy Sr. officiating. most
