Robert "Bob" Odom
June 6th, 1956 - November 17th, 2015
Robert "Bob" Odom, 59, left this world suddenly on November 17, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Wanda, his mother Beverly, father Robert, sister Sharon Singleton, mother and father- in- law, Cliff and Nancy Church. He also leaves behind Aunt Peggy and Uncle David Thompson and Aunt Pat and Uncle Buddy Edwards, along with his cousins, their spouses and children. Bob was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force, where he met his wife. Bob had many hobbies in his life. He loved to travel with Wanda and always looked forward to their adventures together. He enjoyed a good golf game or a Scuba trip somewhere new and exciting. He could talk football for hours, especially about his beloved Redskins. Perhaps his biggest passion in life was his music. He began playing bass guitar at a young age and never lost the desire to pick up his bass and play for hours. It brought him the solitude and peace he needed to balance his life. As a Parrothead, Bob and Wanda met so many nice people out there. He was truly proud to call so many his friends. In his last few years Bob added a new love to his life, his Silky Terrier Max. He and Max instantly bonded and were often inseparable. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on December 5, 2015 at 12pm at St. Anne of Grace Episcopal Church, Seminole and the celebration will continue at Bob's Tiki Bar. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local SPCA or Wounded Warrior Project.
