August 20th, 1924 - April 26th, 2016
Pohl, Walter John Jr. "Jack" age 91 of Saint Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at St. Anthony's Hospital. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, serving during WWII, recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Bronze Star with two Oak Leaf Clusters. Jack was a founding member of the Maximo Presbyterian Church. He was also a resident of Westminister Suncoast. Jack was an exceptionally talented artist, and master illustrator. Jack is survived by his loving family of two children; Son, John Pohl (Lisa); Daughter, Wendy M. Marshall (Joe); Four Grandchildren; and 1 Great Grandchild. Jack was predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Jean, and his brother, Robert Pohl (Janet).
