Sias, Edward, "Ed", 73 of Seminole, FL passed away at home on May 24, 2016. He was born and raised in Reading, MA. His parents were Donald and Mabel Crowe Sias. Ed retired from the USAF as a Msgt and then from the US Coast Guard as their Mail Manager. He loved taking care of business, baseball and spending time with his family. He is survived by his only sister Sandy Cosco; his wife Debora Finn; children: Lisa (Tom) Gomez, Wendy (Robert) Newman, Alan (Samantha) Sias, Gretchen (Richard) Nickerson, grandchildren: Monique, Michelle, Leslie, and Celeste Gomez, Jessica Zachgo, Melissa Anderson, Heather Bell, Katie Garrison, Austin Sias, and Owen and Myla Nickerson; 5 great grandchildren; and nephews Michael and Peter Cosco. There will be a celebration of Ed's life at the VFW Post 1506 in Melrose, MA on June 19, 2016. There will be a formal military service and burial in Arlington National Cemetery later this year. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Association at www.alsa.org or any charity of your choosing.
