Campbell, Duane M. 80, of St. Petersburg, FL, died on July 2, 2016. He was born in Oakdale, PA on December 21, 1935 to William Benzley and Annette Brockmyer Campbell. He retired from Nationwide Insurance after a financial career of 43 years. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marianne. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Atcheson; daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and John Bourassa of Hudson, OH and Marcia and Jim Dillon of Bellevue, WA; and step-son, Greg Jones; grandchildren, Kevin (Aani) and Andrew Bourassa and James and Katherine Dillon. He is also survived by brothers, Gerald (Peggy) and David (Nancy); sisters, Margaret Trautman (David) and Norma Thorpe; many nieces and nephews, and dear friends. Duane was a graduate of Penn State where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Captain in the Ohio National Guard. He was a long time member of Broad Street Presbyterian Church where he served as elder, trustee, and usher. He was a football referee for OHSAA for over 20 years. He served many years as a board member of the Columbus Speech and Hearing Center and the English Foundation. He was a member of Pic-Token and Pic-Win clubs. Private services will be held in Columbus, OH. Friends who wish may contribute in Duane's memory to the charity of their choice.
