Perera, Chandra age 54 of Saint Petersburg, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Georgetown, Guyana on December 17, 1961 to the late St. George Anthony Singh and Rohini Chaturgan. She graduated as an RN BSN from the University of New Mexico School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for Bay Care Hospitals in St. Petersburg and Tampa. She is survived by two children, Sons, Isvara C Dhanesar, Avinash S. Perera; and granddaughter, Sophia Kirkendall. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm October 2 at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home on 38th Ave N. A gathering of friends and family will precede the service from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
