Michael J. Wiernasz

Wiernasz, Michael J. "Mike" 75 of St. Pete. Beach, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017, peacefully at home in the comfort loving care of his wife after a long battle with heart disease. Born in Middletown, CT, on January 12, 1942 to the late Joseph J. Wiernasz and the late Anna S. Mickucki, he married Judith McKelvie on June 24, 1966. Michael graduated from St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore, MD , University of Connecticut and Columbia University in NYC. Michael was a 40 year member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chester, CT. and a 4 year member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in St Pete Beach. Michael is survived by his Wife Judy of 51 years; children, Two Daughters, Catherine J. ( Jay Sirois) Wiernasz, Elizabeth A. ( Michael) New; Two Sisters, Joan A. (Irving) Clark, Dolores G. (Glenn Lacey) Wiernasz; 4 grandchildren Matthew Sirois, Zachary Sirois, Andrew Lunz and Annabel Lunz. There will be a viewing Monday June 26th 9AM till Mass time at 10:30AM, at St. John's 445 82nd Ave. St. Pete. Beach.
