Walter Page Harris III, 56, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017. He was born in St. Petersburg on May 7, 1961. He was the son of Walter Page Harris, Jr. and Norma Jean Dew Harris. Page attended Shorecrest Preparatory School from elementary through high school, graduating with the Class of 1979. Throughout his extensive athletic career, he excelled with All Star status in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track. He later returned to Shorecrest to coach JV Football and JV Basketball. His personality was highlighted in the school's production of South Pacific. He received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina. At Carolina, he was a walk on for the Tar Heels football team. Page then received his MBA from The University of South Florida, St. Petersburg. Following graduation, he returned to St. Petersburg, where he worked for Dew Cadillac. The Cadillac dealership, the oldest in the country, was established in the early 1900s by his maternal grandfather, Roy L. Dew. He was voted most outstanding in his class in the advanced level of General Motors training. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity, the Dragon Club, the Quarterback Club, and the American Red Cross Twenty Gallon Donor Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Norma Jean Dew Harris and Walter Page Harris, Jr. Page is survived by his wife, Marcie, St. Petersburg, his children, Walter Page Harris IV, Madrid, Spain, Natalie Gail Harris, St. Petersburg, FL and Lacey Bradfield , Tampa and his former wife, Debbie Stalker Harris, St. Petersburg, FL. He is survived by his sisters, Kim Groux (Jeff) of Rome, GA, and Laurie Harris (Valarie Nussbaum-Harris) ,St. Petersburg, FL , grandson Kyo Bradfield, nieces and nephews include Lauren Nelson (Eric), Danielle Watts (Tyler), Nicole Stalker, Christopher O'Sick, Kevin Stalker, Jacquelyn Groux, Brittany O'Sick, Kristina Groux, Nicholas Harris and Ava Harris. He was a beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, Godfather, and Friend to many and will be dearly missed. Visitation and memorial service will be held at the Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home. 2201 Martin Luther King Jr. Street North, St. Petersburg, FL, Sunday, Nov. 19th from 5-7PM. Service will be held at 6PM.
