Judy was born on December 21st, 1948 in Hartford City, IN. She graduated from Bennett Catholic High in Marion, IN and later Ball State University as a radiology technician. She worked as an x-ray tech at Marion General Hospital and Lutheran Hospital. After moving to St. Petersburg, FL in 2007, Judy worked as a mammography technician at Tower Imaging. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Nell & Harry Coons, and stepdaughter Lisa Ellis. Judy is survived by her son Adam Miller (Robb Weese), daughter Laura Brewer (Jon Brewer), granddaughter Ellie, sister Melissa Foustnight (Dennis Schuth), stepdaughter Kim Bartrom (Greg Bartrom), nephews Austin & Ross Foustnight, great-nephew Preston, great-nieces Macie, Isabella, Adisyn and her cats Ruby & Cooper. Judy was a very happy, loving person that put her heart into her family and friends, often asking about her children's friends to make sure they were ok too. Her granddaughter was the brightest star in her life. She loved being Nanner and absolutely glowed whenever she talked about Ellie and played peek-a-boo. She traveled many times a year to see loved ones in Indiana & Minnesota. On the Indiana trips, her must-do list always had tomatoes and breaded tenderloin on it. Judy loved spending time on Anna Maria Island and sailing Lake Michigan. She loved quilting and gardening, especially orchids and geraniums. Judy was eager to laugh and have fun. If you got the the "no breath laugh" you know you hit gold. Judy will be remembered in everything from birds and summer shandys to "dinging the World Wide Web" and being excited that you're "boing." Visiting hours will be on Friday April 13th, 5-8pm at Anderson McQueen 2201 Dr. MLK St. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704.
