Cormier, Emery Oscar, 89, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, January 24, 2010, at . Born in Northbridge, MA, he came here in 1964 from Dayton, OH. He received his Bachelor's degree from Berkley in California. He served as a Bomber Pilot in the US Air Force during World War II and retired as a Major after 23 years of service. After his retirement from the armed forces, he worked Coca Cola in St. Petersburg. He was also a musician for 15 years at Derby Lane. Well known for his musical talents, he performed in the movie "Cocoon" and also entertained many over the years at the Coliseum in St. Petersburg. He was Roman Catholic. He is survived by wife, Lucille Cordelia Cormier; and his sister, F. Estelle Vigeant, Fairhaven, MA.
