Jackson, Anita M. died February 2nd at home. Anita was born in Olney, IL and came here 1961 from Chicago. She was happily married over 50 years to the late Robert S. Jackson, Jr. Anita was a loving Mother to her sons, Robert S. III (Libby), John Neil, both of St. Petersburg, and Matthew Bruce (Laura), Palmetto. A fourth son, Mark, preceded her in death. She was also the game-playing "Gigi" to her seven grandchildren. Anita's family was the love of her life, and she, theirs. She graduated from Lindenwood College, St. Charles, MO in May, 1954. In St. Petersburg, she served as legal assistant to Major L. Perry, Attorney at Law, for 20 years. Anita was a member of the Pasadena Women's Club, twice holding the office of President and serving as secretary for many years. She was an avid bridge player playing often in various groups. She enjoyed occasional local acting, even learning to tap dance to enhance her chances of winning parts. Anita was also the Permanent President of the Garden Manor II Girl's Club, planning many a scintillating evening out, and in later years, exploring promising lunch possibilities. Anita was blessed with a close, loving family and loyal friends from her Illinois years and Florida years. She will be dearly missed by all. A viewing will be held at 10:30AM till service time at 12noon on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Anderson-McQueen Family Tribute Center, 7820 38th Ave N.
