Blair, Charles Edwin 77, of Largo, died Friday, December 28, 2012, at Woodside Hospice House. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama to Lewis Edwin and Charlotte Rose Blair and came to Largo in 1998 from Orlando, FL. He graduated from Georgia Tech University, Class of 1961. He was a US Army veteran. He served two terms as President of the Florida Laryngectomee Association. He retired as the manager of the Orlando Florida Airport's District Office of the FAA. He was preceded in death by his brother, William "Buddy" Blair. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Nancy C. Blair of Largo; a son, Kerry Blair of Woodstock, GA; a daughter, Tracy Blair-Choo of Marietta, GA; a son, Shannon Blair of Hoschton, GA; a step-son, Scott Freeman of Palm Harbor, FL; a step-son Dr. Bradley Freeman of Brentwood, TN; a step-son, Michael Freeman of Oviedo, FL; a sister Mary Jo Ray of Huntsville, AL; a sister, Kaye Gordon of Athens, GA; and twelve grandchildren.. There will be a Memorial Service on January 12, 2013 at 2PM at Laughlin Service in Huntsville, AL. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
