Ellabelle Michael McGough, 94, of Crystal Lake, Illinois and St. Petersburg, Florida; passed away due to post-surgical complications, Friday, February,19, 2010, in St. Petersburg; Loving wife of the late Dr. James W. McGough; Daughter of the late Gertrude Flanagan and Howard Stephens Michael, born at home in Chicago, January 01, 1916. Beloved mother of Kathleen (Peter) Johnson, Mary Ellen (late Erwin) von Schacky and (Bernd) Schultz, Patricia (E. James) Mueller, Dr. James (Dr. Ellen Barnes) McGough, Michael (Karen Michaels) McGough, Daniel (Lisa) McGeough; Loving sister of John (Ann) Michael, Catherine(Jackson) McClain; Devoted grandmother of Daniel (Katharina Schneider-Sickert) von Schacky, Julia (Henri Troillet) von Schacky, Marie-Luise Schultz, Matt McGough, Jaime McGough, Ted (Mary Elizabeth) Mueller, Rachel Mueller, Olivia (Chad) Timothy, Gavin Johnson, James McGough, Emily McGough, Caroline McGeough, Daniel McGeough Jr. and Sean McGeough; Great Grandmother to Lilly Elizabeth Mueller and Elenor Rose Troillet; Fond aunt to numerous nieces and nephews; In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin, and sisters Margaret (James) Cowie, Mary Alice (Norman) Leehr and brother Howard (Nancy) Michael. She enjoyed her life through friendships, golf, bridge and travel with her widespread family. A Celebration of Life for Grandma Ellie will be held in St. Petersburg, Saturday, April 3, 2010 and in Crystal Lake this Summer at a time to be determined.
