76, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, March 19, 2010. He was born on Oct. 1, 1933. He was the owner and operator of Slims Service for 43 years. He is survived by his wife, Sarah "Sally" Dorsett; his beloved daughter, Teri Chalkley; his son and best friend, James P. "JR" Dorsett; his brother, George Dorsett; 2 grandchildren, Sara and Jason; and 3 great-grandchildren. Jim was a friend to all. There will be a gathering on March 22, 2010 from 5:30-6:30PM at the 2201 Dr. MLKing St. N. location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice.
