77, of St. Petersburg, died on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010. He was born in Flushing, NY. He graduated from George Washington University Medical School in 1958. He was Professor of Medicine and Chairman of the department of several Medical Schools, throughout the country, during his 34 year professional career. He was a deeply loved, caring, and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His wife and children were so very proud of the person he was. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Linhart Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Marilyn Linhart; his children, Mary-Ellen (Scott) Edmiston, Richard (Ritu) Linhart, Jennifer (Andrew) Linhart-Wild, Donna-Lisa (Ernest) Brooks, Daria (John) Stevenson; his grandchildren, Alan Linhart, Eric Abner, Christian Edmiston, Timothy Edmiston, Daniel Edmiston, Jessica Linhart, Justin Linhart, Mason Stevenson, and Tyler Stevenson; and his sister, Patricia Flanagan. There will be a Memorial Service at Faith Covenant Church on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 2PM.
